We would like to offer a huge congratulations to six of our Sherwood CSC swimmers on qualifying for the 'GoCardless Swim England National Summer Meet 2025' which runs from 29th July to 3rd August at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre. This meet is by invitation only and is based on swimmers rankings from performances at Level 1 meets, between a qualification window of the same calendar year. Stil a bit shocked by Harry’s awesome swim today at Open Water Nationals . Not only was it a huge achievement swimming 3k in open water for the first time but he was up against some fantastic swimmers from across the UK - many ranking higher than him at the start of the race! He finished a brilliant 7th out of 33 qualifiers and swam significantly faster than his Regional bronze medal race that secured qualification . What a great day of swimming at the Tony Holmes open meet to finish off Henry’s racing until September. Henry raced in 4 events today, taking 1st place in 50m butterfly + new pb time, 1st place in 50m backstroke, 2nd place in 50m freestyle and 4th in 100m IM Congratulations Henry James you smashed it today

A trip to Cirencester for the Regional Open Water Championships today for three of our swimmers. Tough competition from Wales, The South West and both East & West Midlands made for a very competitive field and some excellent swimming.
