Regional Open Water Championships
A trip to Cirencester for the Regional Open Water Championships today for three of our swimmers. Tough competition from Wales, The South West and both East & West Midlands made for a very competitive field and some excellent swimming.
Congratulations to Harry for completing a 2KM lake swim in a fantastic time resulting in a bronze medal podium finish
Today’s bronze qualifies him for the National Open Water Championships in a few weeks time.
Open water swimming is a whole different sport. Being punched and kicked by competitors, swimming in deep, cold, dirty water, all seasons weather and surrounded by ducks! Not for the faint hearted
