Congratulations to Sherwood's Kai Gelsthorpe who competed at Swim Englands National Summer Meet 2024, in the open male multi-classification category. Kai came away with brilliant bronze medals in both 100m Freestyle and 100m Butterfly! Well done Kai on your fantastic swims, what an achievement!
Phoebe, one of our more advanced swimmers had an amazing weeked at the Northampton Fewstival of Swimming at Corby East Midland International Pool with Nova Centurian. 7 swims 7 medals 2 Gold 3 Silver 2 Bronze 4 rubber duckies (one gifted) for winning heats 4 PBs (every freestyle) Congratulations on a major achievement!
Our younger swimmers were amazing this weekend with a 3rd place win at Watermeadows. Despite not having a full team, the swimmers pulled together, cheering each other on and did an amazing job!
Absolutely fantastic news from our younger swimmers tonight! Placed second on the night behind Leander but overall 3rd in the league. Congratulations too all involved!
A few of our swimmers enjoyed the weekend at the Chesterfield Open Meet. Many achieved PB's, including a few quite big ones, and some achieved regional times for themeselves!
Lots of smiles, PB's and the odd county and regional times were all on show at Ernehale this weekend. For lots of our swimmers it was there first competitve swim of 2024 and what a great effort they all made!
